Saturday - February 19th
Capt'n Cali- Across the Arizona desert and then WTH??? Great weather all across the country and we get to the California State line and we hit rain. When we finally arrived at the West Coast Studios, a HUGE Welcome home was waiting for us. Thank you Cheeto Gyrl!!!!
DJ Jeff - The last stretch and the longest one! The scenery was awesome in the desert. So after, 3,452 miles, 14 states, 20 gas stations, no speeding tickets, no auto issues, and (may I proudly say) NO ARGUMENTS, we made it over the CA State Line and finally to Channel Islands Beach where I have "finally fond me a home". Thanks for the welcome, Cheeto and Kody!

Wednesday February 16th
Capt'n Cali-Working the station while on the road sure makes the trip go faster. It was great to be able to join everyone on the FB page for the Anniversary celebration! Ain't technology grand! Finally made it to Van Horn, Texas and that badly needed hot tub and champagne. Was an awesome evening relaxing with our good friends.
DJ Jeff- Another day of driving pays off! The drive was so much fun as we watched the FaceBook page all day long waiting for winners and also during the show we recorded the night before. And then we finally land at Gayla and Steve Mitchell's...what fun! Champaign, Anniversary Cake, relxing in the hot tub with great friends and Peter Mayer playing in the background. BeachFront Radio's First Anniversary was certainly a fun and memorable one....thank you to ALL of you for being part of it!

Capt'n Cali - Awesome trip down to Fairhope, Al. What a great area that is! Donna McFadden (Homemade Wine Mommy) had homemade gumbo waiting for us. Talk about Southern Hospitality! A fantastic hostess and so much fun. Not to mention "Lucy" her puppy. Enjoyed a relaxing evening with them both and looking forward to a fun-filled day OFF the road.
DJ Jeff - Wow, just pulling into Fairhope, we knew this was going to be a fun stop but we had no idea what was waiting for us! We had so much fun hanging out with Donna. The real homemade gumbo was awesome, Lucy was so much fun to play with, and Donna was just a sheer delight. Gotta rest up for tomorrow!

Thursday February 10
DJ Jeff - Picking up Capt'n Cali today so she can join me for the rest of thew tour...SO EXCITED! Not so long a wait at Dulles for Capt'n Cali to arrive...she got in 25 minutews early! At least I made it to the right airport this time :)
Capt'n Cali - Got up at 3:00 AM PST to make the 8:15 flight out of LAX. I LOVE Virgin America! On time, easy Security, great planes. Got off the plane in DC, HOLY cow........COLD. Virgin is great but they eventually made me get off the plane.
So here is how a Cali girl thinks.......We have a cooler in the car to keep cold drinks in for the road. This morning, I drag the cooler around trying to find ice, filled it up and proceeded to put the Pepsi into the cooler. Total waste of time......they had frozen solid overnight in the car........duh.

Last broadcast from The Amish Studios...so many great shows from there! Gave a Shout Out to The Parrotheads In Amish Paradise, been with them since the beginning. Hey All You Amish, thanks so much for well over a decade of good times, great friendships, and tons of fun! We'll see a ton of you at upcoming Trop Rock events...I know how much Amish love getting out of town LOL. Don't worry, the Amish Beach Party will ALWAYS be the Amish Beach Party no matter where we broadcast from as my tribute to all my years and memories in Amish Paradise!
